"Encore" (2004) |
"Just Lose It" is a song by American rapper Eminem, released in 2004. It was the lead single from his worldwide hit album, Encore, which was also released that year. The song had caused some controversy, as its content and also its music video had attacked Michael Jackson, who was being accused of child molestation at the time (the BET music video channel later banned the video, after complaints from Benzino and others, however MTV did not, and the video became one of the most requested videos on the channel). The song also pokes fun at Pee Wee Herman, MC Hammer, and others.
Two skits regarding the Michael Jackson controversy were included on Encore, Paul (Skit) and Em Calls Paul (Skit). The matter was also mentioned in a song from The Anger Management Tour 3 Mixtape entitled Get Off My Nuts.
"Just Lose It" was, in 2005, included on Eminem's greatest hits album, Curtain Call.
