"My Name Is" is a song by Eminem, released in 1999. It was the first single from his major label debut album, The Slim Shady LP, which was also released that year. This song was the one which first propelled him up the mainstream singles charts (and indeed it also helped the album), and helped establish his rapping styles before achieving much further chart-topping success the following year. This song was so widely known that it was not only the first rap song to grace the TRL number one spot, but was retired after 30 number one days in a row.

The song contains an interpolation of the Labi Siffre song "I Got The" (1975). Siffre, who is openly gay, considered certain lines in the song's original version to be hurtful to Gays and Lesbians, and Eminem had to change the lyrics to get the sample cleared.

"My Name Is" was later released on Eminem's greatest hits album, Curtain Call, in 2005.
